POSITION SUMMARY:
The job of the Fireplace Installer is to assist in the installation of wood, gas and pellet burning fireplaces, stoves and inserts in residential homes in accordance with manufacturers installation instructions and Fallon’s Home and Hearth installation guidelines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Install fireplaces according to Fallon’s Home and Hearth standards, manufacturers installation instructions, and local building codes
- Maintain assigned company vehicle and company issued tools
- Follow all OSHA and company safety standards and procedures
- Maintain a positive and professional image with all home builders and consumers
- Maintain a clean job site
- Clean and organize job site before leaving
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently, follow up and meet deadlines
- Possess a willingness to learn and problem solve
- Strong customer service skills
- Must be reliable and flexible
- Display a professional appearance
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Forklift Certification required
- High school diploma equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to become DOT certified
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- This is a physical position that requires overall good health and strength
- Ability to lift up to 100lbs.
- Must be able to climb a ladder and work on roofs
- Ability to consistently lift, carry, push, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, reach and work with hands and fingers
- Near and color vision
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:
- Within first 3 months – Complete HHT Online Training
- Within the first year – HHT Factory Trained Certification
