Position Summary: The Sales Operations Supervisor supports the vision and goals of Fallon’s Home and Hearth by overseeing, developing, and providing product education, orientation, and setting the expectation for the customer. The Sales Operations Supervisor is accountable for maintaining proper Retail Sales Associate behaviors and practices, ensuring maximum sales and profitability through continuing education, training and mentoring of sales staff.
Essential functions
- Maintains store environment (internal/external) that reflects company brand operating procedures.
- Provide Knowledgeable sales presentation, suggest related items, answer any objections, and ensure appropriate merchandise displays are in store.
- Develop a deep understanding of the Fireplace Systems and services offered by the company, including stoves, fireplaces, inserts, ventilation, and energy-efficient upgrades.
- Full knowledge and understanding of all store policies and procedures. Effectively train, guide, and communicate these policies to all associates.
- Train, coach, and develop associates in all areas and functions required to run the store efficiently.
- Use a variety of computer or app-based applications to develop all the details for the sale and company support teams.
- Update the company’s Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) with all pertinent data throughout the sales process.
- Effectively communicate and maintain client relationships w/ Vendors, sales representatives, Builders and Contractors
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently, follow up and meet deadlines.
- Possess a willingness to learn and problem solve.
Technical
- Proficient with Microsoft office tools, social media and smart device use and operation
- Must Utilize and maintain Customer Relationship Management System.
Education and experience.
- High School Diploma
- 4 years’ experience in sales or related field
