First time home builders and custom home experts agree that Heatilator is the number one choice. Whether you’re interested in a wood, gas, or electric fireplace or insert, Heatilator promises quality, reliability, and an ease of installation unsurpassed in the industry. Take a look below at the cutting edge features that make the Heatilator fireplace the best choice for you:
- Intellifire Touch is the most advanced and intuitive Intellifire system, making your fireplace simple, smart, and safe. Select from a wireless wall switch or touch screen remote for the solution that’s right for you.
- Direct Vent Technology effectively removes 100% of combustion exhaust and fumes from your home. These sealed fireplaces provide optimal heat, conserve energy, and ensure clean air quality.
- Intellifire Ingnition System, or advanced intermittent pilot ignition system, constantly monitors ignition, insures safe functioning, and can conserve up to $10/mo. in energy costs.
- Zone Heating puts the heat where you need it, when you need it. Why heat your house when you can just heat the places of your house that you spend the majority of your time in? With zone heating solutions, you can enjoy energy savings of 20-40%!
- WhisperTone Technology is a patent-pending technology that allows airflow with minimal sound, the ability to horizontally terminate, and an automatic damper which stops air movement when the fireplace is off, preventing cold air from leaking into your home.

Lost Power? No Problem!
With a Heatilator fireplace, you’ll never lose heat during a power outage again!
Most Heatilator gas fireplaces and gas inserts are outfitted with IntelliFire or IntelliFire Plus ignition systems that have battery backup systems that can be used to light the pilot during a power outage. Only two D cell batteries are required for IntelliFire systems and four AA batteries are required for IntelliFire Plus Systems.
Batteries should only be used as a power source in the event of a power outage, as battery longevity can be affected by the temperature of the appliance. Just remove the batteries once the power is restored, and keep them handy for the next time you lose power!
